Acceptance

By using number.wiki (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Site. These terms form a binding agreement between you and NumberWiki (the "Operator"), the independent project that runs the Site. Contact information is at the bottom of this page.

What number.wiki is

number.wiki is a free, public reference site about integers. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes. We aim for accuracy but make no warranty — mathematical results, classifications, and detector outputs are computed automatically and may be incomplete or imprecise. Curated articles are written from public sources and represent best-effort summaries, not authoritative truth.

Acceptable use

Light bot traffic (search-engine crawlers, archive services, occasional API-like reads) is welcomed. If you need bulk access, please get in touch.

Intellectual property

Original prose written for number.wiki — the About page, the historical-numerals pillar articles, curated number notes, and the like — is © NumberWiki and licensed under Creative Commons BY 4.0: you may reuse, remix, and republish it with attribution to "NumberWiki (number.wiki)" and a link back to the source page. Mathematical facts (primality, factorization, sequence membership, calendar conversions) are not copyrightable. Third-party content quoted or referenced — including event summaries derived from Wikipedia (CC-BY-SA 4.0) and any cited external sources — remains the property of its respective owners and is used under the relevant licences or fair-use doctrine. Logos, trademarks, and brand names mentioned on number.wiki belong to their respective owners; their appearance on the Site does not imply endorsement.

Advertising and analytics

number.wiki displays advertisements served by Google AdSense (Google's contextual and behavioural advertising network), and uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate Site usage. By using the Site you acknowledge these third-party services and the cookies they may set. See the privacy policy for the full description of what data is collected and how to opt out. Ad creative is selected and delivered by Google and its partners; their content is not authored, reviewed, or endorsed by NumberWiki, and we make no representation or warranty about advertised products or services. Clicking an advertisement takes you to a third-party site governed by that site's own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

NumberWiki is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. Computed mathematical results, sequence memberships, and detector outputs are produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions; you should independently verify any fact on which a material decision depends.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law, it is limited to the amount permitted by that law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator from any claim or demand made by a third party arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to your local courts.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
